Alyssa Walker is a talented singer-songwriter and acoustic guitar player. She developed a love for writing songs at a young age and currently has written over thirty original songs which she performs on a regular basis. Her lyrics not only tell a story, but are relatable to her fans, as many have reached out to Alyssa to tell her that her song “struck a chord” with them. Her music can be described as pop, indie, folk, country and Americana. She can also play a wide-range of covers from all different genres. Currently she has one released EP, Break the Wall, and three singles, Little Miss Attention Seeker, Set You Free, and Stupid Boy. Both Little Miss and Set You Free have music videos as well.
She has been featured on several radio shows including KSON’s Write-a-Tune-Tuesday, Gurls Talk Rawk radio show, and her music has been played on AVRadio. She has also had two full-length interviews on Viet News Television San Diego where she performed and promoted her debut album, Break the Wall, which released in July of 2016.
Alyssa is also active in her community and has been featured in 92129 Magazine and plays at local street fairs including the Rancho Penasquitos Fiesta and Rancho Bernardo’s RB Alive! Alyssa has played at the San Diego County Fair where she was part of the Acoustic Showcase and at the LA and Orange County Fairs as well as Tin Roof and Whiskey Girl in the Gaslamp. She can be found performing at various venues throughout San Diego including Sheldon’s Service Station in La Mesa, The Roxy Encinitas, Cardiff Beach Bar at Tower 13, OB Farmer’s Market, and Rancho Bernardo Inn to name a few, as well as private parties in the San Diego area.
Alyssa started college this past fall where she is majoring in Music with an emphasis on Vocal Performance and is taking classes in Music Industry. She has been selected to be a part of the Jazz Ensemble as well as the Singer-Songwriter Showcase. She continues to write music and hopes to record some of her newest singles soon!
